Psychotherapy Services

Everyone experiences challenges in life. But sometimes, feelings of depression, anxiety, anger, resentment, worthlessness and disconnection can persist and make us feel stuck or hopeless.

Therapy can help with emotional processing and connect us with our inner world. It makes room for the difficult emotions and experiences that need our attention and greater understanding. Through deeper awareness, we can then explore new perspectives and solutions and a clearer way forward to a better quality of life.

I offer talk therapy services and art psychotherapy services for teens 16+ and adults and honour the uniqueness of each person – their beliefs, values and intersectionality of experiences. I have a holistic, trauma-informed, strength-based and solutions-focused approach that draws on various modalities to meet the needs of each individual. Some of my focus areas with clients include:

Benefits of Art Psychotherapy

Art therapy is a type of psychotherapy that uses art as an assistive tool to help with emotional processing and healing. It makes room for what may be difficult to express in words and allows us to connect with our inner world through creative expression.

Art therapy can allow a deeper connection with our subconscious as well as help us gain new perspectives of life’s challenges. Some of the potential benefits of art therapy include greater self-awareness, processing difficult experiences and emotions. changing unhelpful patterns and behaviours, enhancing the body-mind connection, improving emotional regulation, and providing relief and a clearer way forward.
